I was commisioned by Sky News to create a new, innovative, version of their award winning Sky News mobile app for iPhone.  Through a combination of research (business research, content analysis, user research, and competitor analysis) I came up with some new approaches which were validated with the business and end users, through the development of mock-ups, prototypes and wireframes, and then tested in the production app.  The revised version of the app climbed to the top of the app store and reviewed extremely well.
